Why Death Penalty for rapes might not be an amazing idea?

The Cabinet's approval of death penalty for minors (below age twelve) and President's approval to that ,while might have raised hopes of the people in general regarding women safety in country, it might not actually do what they are expecting it to do. Why? Let's read along. Increasing instances of rapes, especially those in which minors are the victims, have revived the debate about death penalty for rapes. This time the rhetoric is a bit different as people are asking for death penalty where the minor is below the age of 12. As growing public opinion seems to be asking for revenge and as govt. opinion seems to be now getting affected by populist concerns, a bit more insight is needed whether introduction of death penalty would be beneficial or not. Demand: Introduction of death penalty for raping minors (below 12) Reason: Raping a child of such a small age is heinous and death penalty should be there as it would act as a “deterrent”. Student : A failure

The race of life that we are busy running has taken its toll on the younger generation of the society too who still are students. In schools and colleges, where they should be expected to learn , not only their subjects but also the way life is meant to be lived , they are exposed to gravely dangerous levels of unnecessary stress. This has become an undeclared norm in the such educational institutions to literally worship the ones who are getting more marks than the others. And it doesn't stop at just worshiping them, it also takes the form of thrashing and insulting the students who score low. But this is not for what they were sent there. Everyone has his own sets of interests , strengths and weaknesses. Judging a fish on the basis of its ability to climb a tree is actually a violation of natural justice. It is not expected of the teachers to demoralize a student. They should concentrate more on how can they help their students have a better future. They shouldn't just try to explore the weak areas of students and help them improve but efforts should be made to recognize their strengths too. Teachers should take the form of the guide that they actually should be . The mindset of today's society which is very much guided by the monetary prospects in every field has taken a toll on the relationship that a student and a teacher should share. Marks should not be the only dictating factor that what a child can or can't do. The world is full of people who have given so much too the society and not because they scored high in their classrooms but because they luckily got in the field they had their strength and interest in.

The relationship between the children andtheir parents also matters. Today , parents are more ambitious than ever. While students are themselves overambitious now a days where everyone of them wants to be an over night sensation , overambitious parents add more to the stress of such students. While assessing their children , they should visit back their pasts and see how they were as a student. Were they always at the top of the class? No. So they should understand that it is just fine to fail. They should understand that this is life and they are the biggest enemies of children if they are teaching them that failure is a crime. This increases the mistrust between them as they know that their parents would never approve of the failures. That's why student's suicides are increasing because they don't get relief even from their parent's side.

No student is a failure. This is life and very human being will get his due share. No need to make it a competition for unnecessary reasons. MAKE IT A JOURNEY. THIS IS LIFE. DON'T FORGET TO LIVE IT.
